The sweet moment of weblogs

By: ilker Billurcu

Until now weblogs they have had very good positioning in Google and other finders, which causes that many searches give like result pages of weblogs. The technologies used by the binnacles allow to index them very well and the enormous amount of bonds between weblogs harnesses them in rankings of results. On the other hand the profile of many authors, people connected permanently to the Network, of much initiative and bound to its development causes that they have many visits and a great weight I specify. Nevertheless what will happen when the situation is standardized? Sooner or later Google and other finders will be able to value to weblogs in their measured joust and its positioning will lower drastically.

The phenomenon will stop being a fashion and to receive as much attention of means. When the majority user of the Network is a current person and of basic knowledge, weblogs present will be to years light of them. In this situation weblogs seems destined to become shouts in the desert, in memories of a happy time, when they have the potential to become means of the same level that the traditional ones. The impediments so that weblogs becomes "something more" are not few and come from the own culture that generated them.

This makes very difficult that they evolve. Weblog is a place where the author says what she comes to him in desire, is in his right and any type of "internal self-discipline" can go against its principles and being hardly accepted. Quality of the contents Weblogs is very irregular, the best ones among them even have frequent bumps in the quality of their contents. The shortage of resources and time of an only author causes these irregularities that disappoint the reader. If the determinant of the success of weblog is the quality of the contents, this one would have to be the priority of the authors. Nevertheless in some cases this is not thus. The binnacles are born like toys where the author experiments, they are conceived like an aim in themselves and not like means.
